Beeswax can vary slightly in colour; this is due to the type of flowers the bees have been foraging on.

The actual colour of the candle may vary slightly in colour to the image candle.

🐝 Why does beeswax come in so many shades?

Beeswax is kind of like a scrapbook for a beehive, every colour tells a story. When bees first make wax, it’s snow-white and fresh. But as they use it to store honey and pollen, raise their baby bees (aka brood), and seal up gaps with sticky propolis, the wax begins to change. It shifts from pale yellow to golden amber, and sometimes even deep brown.

So next time you hold a piece of beeswax, remember you’re holding a little piece of bee history.

We recommend burning our candles on a candle plate.
