Beeswax Wraps

Mount Richon Honey’s Handmade Beeswax Wrap is your perfect, reusable food wraps they are washable and compostable once lifecycle is complete. They are an eco friendly alternative to plastic wrap.

Each wrap is handmade by us using eco- friendly sustainable materials -100% cotton infused with beeswax, tree resin and jojoba oil. 

Ideal for lunches, sandwiches, veggies, fruit, to cover bowls and anything else you can think of. They are easy to use - With the warmth of your hands you can mould the reusable wraps to cover plates, as a bowl cover, making pockets for lunches, wrap food or as a produce saver. Perfect as zero waste kitchen storage.

 Wash with cool water and mild detergent.  Use again and again.

Beeswax Wraps

Sizes 

Small 18 x 22cm -cut onions, pouches for snacks suck as carrots, celery, crackers, seeds and nuts (Great for snack sized foods, soft cheeses, small bits and pieces).

Medium 26 x 33cm -avocado, cucumbers, fruits, cheeses 

Large 33 x 33cm- salad bowls, vegetables, bread, sandwiches 

X Large 50 x 45cms - Great for the really big stuff in your kitchen including baguettes, monster loaves, cakes and larger bowls and dishes.

How to use: Simply wrap the beeswax food wrap over you food or bowl and use the heat of your hands to wrap the beeswax food wrap around it. The wrap will stick onto its self.  To clean simply rinse under Luke warm water and dishwashing liquid or just wipe down with a damp cloth. Let it air dry and you can store it in a draw ready to be used again.

Care: Wash your wraps gently with cool water and a mild detergent. Store in a cool dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight. The wraps should last 6-12 months with proper care

Once they lose their stickiness (which they eventually will), you can re-treat them with a beeswax wrap refresher bar. Or, if they’re beyond repair, cut them into strips and add them to your compost.

Warning: Do not use with hot food and plates, raw meat, fish or poultry. Keep away from heat as they will melt.
